Karmakamet Diner
       
The stunning restaurant was inspired by medicine warehouse in Hainan which belonged to Grandfather of Natthorn Rakchana, Karmakamet Brand Founder who designs Karmakamet diner and all Karmakamet Aromatic Shops. All little things used here were made under concept of local Thais & Asians’ livings, e.g., old newspapers as placemats, the partitions between tables are filled with old Chinese perfume bottles, etc., and all things we have nostalgias for...The  way we used to live that was so comforting...

Our European with Asian Twists cuisine, goes under honest food concept, is cooked the way food should be prepared  without  disguises, food that comforts us and leaves no poison behind.  All ingredients used here are real organics. 

 

     Old letters as coasters are the reproductions of real letters that Natthorn Rakchana and Jutamas Theantae, Chef, Restaurateur and Karmakamet Diner’s co-founder wrote to each other in their childhood. They would like to share the essences of things they love, things they put their hearts into just to say that, it is not just another restaurant business here...

   Chef Jutamas Theantae graduated from Visva – Bahrati University, Santiniketan, India in printmaking – lithography. A passion for cooking led her to work in several kitchens before starting Karmakamet Diner.
She says her background in Fine Arts, helped enhancing her culinary creativity as “perfection lies in looking at the little details”. 
“I believe in a perfect meal with people I love. I guess it explains the relationship we have, and for that reason I returned back to the kitchen, to the food business.” I love seeing the happiness of people when they dine, and I always want to do whatever I can to make them even happier.
